Wampanoag Homesite near Plimoth Plantation. That's me again in my maroon jacket. It was very interesting, but I especially loved getting inside the bark homes, because it was warm.....but smoky.
We are standing near a barn on the Plimoth plantation. Note the thatched roof. People were in period costume. We have ancestors who came over on the Mayflower. James Chilton and his wife died that winter, but their daughter Isabelle came later and we come through her. Dad enjoyed the animals and outdoors. I loved the history and talking to the "actors". Lori Lyn was a great guide.
This is Lori Lyn and Mom standing on a rock at Central Park in New York City. We spent the first day seeing Central Park, Times Square and ate at this cute Afganistan restaurant. That evening we saw Broadway show of Lion King. Dad loved taking pictures and wearing his cowboy hat.
